Dr. Alan Glazer

Dr. Alan Glazer obtained his DVM degree from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. He then completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center in Norwalk, CT. After his internship, he returned to Massachusetts as a staff emergency clinician and general practitioner at the New England Animal Medical Center in West Bridgewater. After a couple of years of practice, the NEAMC sponsored Dr. Glazer through a multi-centric internal medicine residency allowing him to train with specialists throughout New England. Upon finishing his residency, Dr. Glazer stayed on at NEAMC as an internal medicine specialists and received his board certification in 2007. While at NEAMC, he took internal medicine referrals, performed ultrasounds and related procedures, performed endoscopies , and helped manage hospital cases.

Dr. Glazer joined NEVS in 2013. As a member of the NEVS team, Dr. Glazer has been providing ultrasound services (abdominal, cervical, and non cardiac thoracic imaging and fine needle aspirations) and internal medicine consults to clinicians across Massachusetts and into southern New Hampshire.

When not performing ultrasounds, Dr. Glazer enjoys cooking and spending time with his wife, two teenagers, dog, cat, and beta fish.
