Dr. Nate Deering
Dr. Deering grew up in Maine and completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Following his graduation, he worked for 4 years as a scientist in pharmaceutical and drug discovery, Dr. Deering obtained his DVM from Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. He then completed a rotating small animal internal medicine and surgery internship at the New England Animal Medical Center in West Bridgewater, followed by a residency in cardiology at the Oradell Animal Hospital in Paramus NJ. He obtained his board certification in cardiology in 2019. Following completion of his residency, he worked as the staff cardiologist at a referral hospital in Manchester, NH.
Dr. Deering is the newest member of the NEVS team. He joined NEVS in 2020, extending our services further into NH and into Maine. He enjoys treating congestive heart failure, diagnosis and treatment of arrhythmias, and echocardiographic studies.
Outside of work, Dr, Deering enjoys running, hiking, cooking reading board games and movies, He lives with his wife, son and their dog in southern NH.
